Olive Oil

Product detailed description
The elixir of life is now on your table.
The inspiration for Oliva Grano comes from château-style wineries. My friend and classmate Alper, a producer holding the globally recognized WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) diploma in agricultural technology and training, rolled up his sleeves when he realized the similarities between the production principles of quality olive oil and fine wine. For him, olive oil production begins in the garden and on the tree. He does not see the olive as just a fruit, but as an infinity of possibilities. Therefore, throughout the entire process, he continuously innovates with new techniques and methods. His goal is to serve humanity and give it a reason for gratitude.
Oliva Grano, a modern interpretation of traditional taste. Experience and enjoy this unique sensation from a small producer with heart and senses in the right place.
Producer’s Word
Our story is not that of a family farmer boasting of growing olive groves for generations. It is more of a story like: “Let’s have an olive grove, so we can enjoy the olives ourselves and later pass them to our children…” Initially, we produced early harvest oil just for ourselves, but over time it became so popular in our community that it set us on the path to building a brand.
In our terroir-focused production, we use olives of the Gemlik-Trilye variety. Terroir, a French term, can be defined as the influence of geographical characteristics of a specific region on the cultivated product. These olives, harvested from various areas, are processed according to established principles to create olive oil with character. We still produce Oliva Grano early harvest olive oil, which rescues boring meals, forms the basis of breakfasts, and is above all a healthful olive oil for ourselves.
Oliva Grano means “olive seed” in Latin. It is the story of olives handpicked individually. We process olives from three different groves in Bursa-Iznik as well as from other growers we monitor, all on the same day. Our logo is inspired by the historical tiles of Iznik and olives, the region’s most important source of income.
